Special seminar of RCTHS with Robert Hahn & Dirk L. Couprie
It is our pleasure to inform you that special guests have agreed to give lectures at one of our Monday's regular seminars.
The seminar will be dedicated to discussing ancient knowledge and science.
14:30 Robert Hahn (Professor of Philosophy, Southern Illinois University Carbondale): "Did Thales Discover the Pythagorean Theorem?"
16:30 Dirk L. Couprie (Independent Researcher, Amsterdam): "Thales and the Solar Eclipse of 28th May 585 BC".
The seminar will be held on 3rd March 2014 at the Department of Philosophy of the University of West Bohemia, Pilsen.
